Colour refreshing
If the colour of your leather sofa has lost some of its brightness over the years or has actually faded away altogether in some places, that’s no reason to rush out and buy a new piece of leather furniture.
You can brighten up minor fading yourself quite easily with the aid of our KERALUX® Colour Lotion, which will be individually made up to your requirements.
In case of more severe fading, one of our leather specialists will help you and will professionally redye the leather for you.
There are many reasons leather can fade: it may be that the leather was not protected with KERALUX® Care Lotion with the light protection factor, or perhaps it was placed near the window and was exposed to direct sunlight. Whatever the reason, we can help you.
SLIGHT FADING
The KERALUX® Colour Repair Set restores the colour to slightly faded leather furniture with fantastic results. We can supply KERALUX® Colour Lotion in 20 standard colours, from white to black, for smooth leather or nubuck leather. Modern leather upholstered furniture comes in a huge variety of colours and not all shades can be covered with the standard colours. To meet that need we provide a special service, our custom-made KERALUX® Colour Lotion. That means we mix the colour individually for your leather. That way, you can be certain the colour is absolutely the same as the original colour of your sofa. How does it work?
It’s quite simple. You send us a little piece of your leather (e.g. from underneath, from the inside seam of a cushion, etc.) as a sample. At our laboratory we scan your shade with the aid of a modern colour mixing computer to produce the exact formula for your colour. Then we custom-mix the colour for you.
The leather sample is digitally scanned. The finished colour formula is displayed.
The shade is then individually mixed precisely according to that formula.
The finished colour lotion will match the customer’s leather sample exactly.

HEAVY FADING
If the colour of the leather is already heavily faded, then only a specialist can help. Depending on how dirty the leather is, it will first of all be thoroughly cleaned before being redyed.
The leather is professionally redyed.
Finally, an intensive cleaner care treatment protects the leather upholstery from losing its colour again. By the way, redying to a different colour is also possible, but only to a darker colour than the original.
